10:02. Court fined three men and one woman for 119 UAH ($15) for dousing former interior minister Yuriy Lutsenko with Brilliant Green at a public meeting in Kharkov.

10:45. Police holds videos from all surveillance cameras from the highway along which drove the cars involved in the attack on journalist Tatiana Chornovol.

11:01. Unidentified men burnt down Toyota Camry belonging to Euromaidan activist, deputy of the Kharkov Regional council from the opposition party 'Batkivshchyna' Ivan Varchenko.

11:20. Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on Foreign Affairs Alexei Pushkov believes that the opposition had been preparing Ukraine for 'Yugoslav scenario' - change of the regime through mass protests.

12:20. A column of about 50 cyclists, 200 cars of Auto-Euromaidan activists and five buses is going to travel to Mezhigorie - a private residence of President Viktor Yanukovich.

12:35. Approximately 20 thousand people gathered for a regular National veche on Kyiv's Independence Square.

12:56. Entrances to the private residence of Viktor Yanukovich are being blocked by traffic police.

13:25. Battered journalist Tatyana Chornovol thinks her beating could be a personal revenge of the head of the Kyiv's Special Forces 'Berkut' Sergei Kusyuk, who was involved in Euromaidan crackdown on November 30, when police used force against the pro-Europe demonstrators in Kyiv.

13:32. Journalists managed to identify a fifth suspect involved into the beating of Tatiana Chornovol as Roman Zalyubovskii.

13:35. Around 50 thousand people rally against the government on Kyiv's Independence Square.

14:00. Deputy Chairman of the opposition party 'Batkivshchyna' Oleksandr Turchynov announced a manifesto of the 'All-Ukrainian Union 'Maidan' at the meeting of the National veche at Kyiv's Independence Square.

The document envisages the release of all arrested Euromaidan activists and all political prisoners, resignation of Interior Minister Vitaly Zakharchenko, other officials and police officers responsible for the dispersal of Euromaidan and beating of the peaceful protesters, elimination of Special Forces 'Berkut' and ban on the use of internal forces during mass protests.

AU 'Maidan' will also demand the introduction of sanctions against the Ukrainian authorities in the international community and the return of 'stolen Ukrainian money from abroad'. AU 'Maidan' demands the resignation of Prime Minister Mykola Azarov's government and the formation of a new 'pro-European' majority in the Verkhovna Rada. After that 'pro-European' majority is expected to establish a technical government to achieve these goals.

AU "Maidan" is going to create a special delegation for negotiations with the government and create a new Constitution.

The manifesto also envisages the creation of regional offices of the AU 'Maidan' to ensure public control over the authorities in the areas of training and preparing society for the formation of a new government.

In the long-term perspective AU 'Maidan' wants to sing the Association Agreement with the EU, abolish the visa regime with Europe and prevent Ukraine from entering the Customs Union.

14:14. Leader of the opposition party 'UDAR' Vitali Klitschko urged Ukrainians to go on strike after the holidays.

14:55. Approaches to the private residence of Viktor Yanukovich in the village of New Petrivtsy are being blocked with more than ten police buses, a few trucks and about 100 police officers.

15:25. The opposition wants to hold Euromaidan pickets of Mezhigorie regularly.

16:18. Euromaidan activists are leaving the vicinity of Viktor Yanukovich's private residence Mezhigorie to picket the houses of Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov and Viktor Medevedchuk.

16:55. Unidentified men threw eggs and tried to stop 300 Euromaidan activists from holding a rally in Donetsk.

17:20. Auto-Euromaidan activists damaged a gate of Viktor Medevedchuk's residence.

18:49. The opposition will form a unified team and an action plan for the country in 2014, said chairman of the opposition 'Batkivshchyna' faction Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
