8:44. Car belonging to Euromaidan activists was burnt down in the centre of Kharkov on the night on Friday, December 27. This was the third car burnt there since the beginning of Euromaidan in November.

12:00. Euromaidan activists in Odessa held a rally on Potemkin stairs. They lined up in the words 'Mi E' ('We are') and lit sparklers, and on the stairs below they stretched the 12-meter flag of Ukraine.

12:34. Prime Minister Nykolai Azarov in a live interview with "1st National" Channel stated the EU requirements for Ukraine:

- adopt a law on the equality of sexual minorities;

- build 'a large number' of points of reception of refugees on the border;

- introduce biometric passports with fingerprints.

12:41. Nykolai Azarov said that the signing of the Association Agreement depends on whether the EU would agree to the conditions of Ukraine.

'Everything depends on the EU, the European Commission. Our condition is very simple - we've offered a trilateral format. Russia gave its consent, now it's up to the European Commission', said Azarov.

The second condition named by Prime Minister is compensation in terms of the implementation of the Association Agreement after signing it. The third is Europe's participation in the modernization of the Ukrainian gas transport system.

'The prospect of signing the Association Agreement will appear once these issues will be solved', said Prime Minister.

13:03. Prime Minister Nykolai Azarov said that the conditions of the Russian $15 billion loan to Ukraine do not include early repayment.

13:12. Nykolai Azarov said that the Cabinet of Ministers used the first $3 billion tranche of $15 billion Russian loan to repay social obligations.

13:15. Police detained a fifth suspect directly involved into the beating of journalist Tatiana Chornovol.

13:39. The Interior Ministry has information that one of the suspects in the beating Tatiana Chornovol was a member of the gang, the leader of which 'worked closely' with Klitschko brothers. Vitali Klitschko is a leader of the opposition party "UDAR".

14:15. Prime Minister Nykolai Azarov says Ukraine can't join the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEC), since such an association doesn't exist yet.

16:00. Police searched an apartment rented by Euromaidan activist and member of the Svoboda opposition party Stanislav Krasov. Krasnov said that after the search ten thousand UAH ($1200) and a laptop disappeared.

16:35. Battered journalist Tatiana Chornovol is being prepared for the first operation that'll be held tomorrow, December 28.

17:03. The Interior Ministry wants to get a full DVR recording from Tatiana Chornovol's car.

18:55. Pechersk district court ordered to put in jail for two months Alexander Hramtsov, one of the suspects in beating of journalist Tatiana Chornovol.

19:42. Another suspect into Tatiana Chornovol's beating - Alexander Kotenko - has been put in jail for two months, until February 23, 2014.

20:45. Sergei Kotenko, a suspect in attack on journalist Tatiana Chornovol, denies his involvement into the beating of the journalist.

21:19. Sergei Kotenko has been arrested for two months as the two other suspects in Tatiana Chornovol beating.
