Thus, in January Euromaidan activists intend to picket the houses of President Viktor Yanukovich, Prime Minister Nykolai Azarov, Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka, Interior Minister Vitaly Zakharchenko and general secretary of the NSDC Andriy Klyuyev.

15:09. Journalist and Euromaidan activist Tatiana Chornovol identified one of the five suspects in her beating, said her husband Nikolay Berezovoi at a press-briefing. In order avoid police prosecution for disclosure of the secrets of the investigation he did not say who exactly it was.
16:30. Program of the New Year celebrations at Kyiv's Independence Square includes performance of Ukrainian rock bands, but it had been decided not to invite any world stars, said deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oles Dony.
17:00. The Interior Ministry of Ukraine is looking for a sixth suspect in Tatiana Chornovol's beating.
17:26. U.S. Embassy to Ukraine congratulated Ukrainians with the New Year in the Ukrainian language.
21:40. U.S. mission to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) has recognized the brutal beating of journalist Tatiana Chornovol as an act of revenge against the organizers of Euromaidan.
22:50. In Kherson 28-year-old city council deputy Stanislav Troshina (opposition party 'Batkivshchyna'), one of the local Euromaidan activists was severely beaten by three unidentified men on Monday night.
23:30. Police reported of rape of a resident of Chernihiv region, born 1982, in a tent camp on Kyiv's Independence Square. The victim said that unidentified man invited her to one of the tents located near the central Independence stele metropolitan area, then raped her and ran away.
