Ukraine has eliminated import duties on buckwheat till summer. The parliament has voted today to reduce taxes from 20% to 0%. This will allow to make the urgent purchase 25 thousand tons of cereals and will reduce prices in the retail market.
Ukrainian Ex-President Viktor Yushchenko may become prime minister again. The authority is already in talks with him, an anonymous source in the government has said. It would help President Viktor Yanukovych to develop the relations with the European Union, as well as to neutralize the influence of the opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko. Yushchenko's press office denies that the negotiations takes place.
